Popular Metro FM DJ Eddie Zondi dies

According to Destiny Man, Zondi apparently had a heart attack at his home in Ruimsig, West of Johannesburg. He was rushed to hospital where he passed away.

Metro FM's Station Manager Martin Vilakazi confirmed the news on air.

Zondi hosted the hugely popular The Romantic Repertoire on Sundays from 3pm to 6pm.
